Ashley is a mom of three little girls, and since 2006 has run various online businesses. These include an e-commerce store, a local SEO consulting business, a design service to build websites for small businesses as well as numerous niche affiliate marketing sites.  Through it all, however, Ashley continually found herself returning to her true passion: teaching.

Early in her career, Ashley taught in the local school system. Teaching has always been a part of her, and when she becomes excited about a concept, her first reaction is to look around for someone with whom to share that knowledge!  As her fascination with online entrepreneurship grew, so did her desire to teach it to those around her.

In speaking with women around her, Ashley discovered that many of them believed that they didn’t have the talent or intelligence to own an online business. Many of these women were moms, and, although they were very interested in making money at home, she heard repeatedly the words, “I know nothing about computers”, and “Making money online is way over my head”.

Needless to say, these comments stirred Ashley’s need to teach!  Her passion is to inspire and empower women, particularly moms, to understand that they have the ability to learn and utilize the concepts she had learned, and to use this knowledge to earn money working online.

Ashley began meeting with various women individually, teaching them to build an existing business online market it nationally or locally, or to create a new online business from their passions and ideas. These include:

Multiple E-commerce stores including:

•  Origination of an idea in an open niche
• Designing the store with open source cart software
• Sourcing the store with dropship products
• Optimizing the content and meta tags on-page
• Implementing an off-page SEO plan that resulted in page one (and often result number one) for keywords that would convert.
• As a result of the success of these steps, several owners of these ecommerce stores were able to design, create and launch their own label for their products.

Multiple local businesses, beginning with a dream of a friend. Ashley has worked with a number of women to create businesses, create and register the name with the state, create the website, optimize the site to rank for local keywords that would result in sales, and aid in finding tools that would help them run their businesses effectively.

Helped women identify their passions or what they wanted to do. Often these women knew they wanted to make extra money, but not how to take the next step.  Ashley helped these women delve into what they loved doing in order to help them recognize areas they would enjoy for the long term. She assisted these women as they started their business, either brick-and-mortar or online and then assisted them in getting the business “off the ground”.

Raised three beautiful, respectful, and intelligent daughters that will one day have their own successful online accomplishments.

I have been around so many strong and independent women who know they are capable of taking care of themselves. On the other hand, I have seen a disturbing trend of women who don’t believe themselves competent enough to learn a new skill. They leave the corporate world for a short time to have children, and they suddenly lose faith in themselves.

They feel they don’t know enough to make money on their own. It is my hope to connect with these women, these moms. It’s my desire to remind them how strong and capable they are. Being a mom is tough, and it utilizes the same skills that these women need to own their own business. Moms learn to multitask, to make decisions quickly, to go long periods without sleep…

I feel uniquely qualified to work with moms because not only do I have the knowledge that earns me respect in SEO and internet marketing circles, but I also understand what it’s like to balance business and family. I love the fact that I can teach and empower women to do something that not only helps them to make money, but enables them to be at home with their children. The idea of teaching women to feel confident in their own abilities makes me excited about my day job!
